K had a pizza party last night. I brought a green pepper. I’ve worked in pizza for three years of my life so needless to say I was happy to just sit back and not have to make any part of the pies, just eat them from the stoked piles that kept coming out of the oven. Crispy bites of laziness. And community, sorta.
But, mark it: I do know how to spin the dough over my head. Chicks dig it.

“do you feel my eyes on you when yer not here
my mind beating my heart’s pulse to the punch.
to the drunk love
to the hungover bed head
to the morning after, you’re gone
and the bed
smells of you and still looks
kicked-off covers.
like you must have gotten hot
in the middle of the night.
tends to happen when we sleep close.
and we always sleep close.”
